Glossary

• Bidirectional Translation – Translation where the target and source languages switch repeatedly to Facilitate both ends of a conversation.
• Earpiece – The consumer may choose to add a bluetooth accessory for more discrete usage.
• Context Aware AI – our AI implementation will be able to use context clues from the phone’s data and given by the user to better adapt the translation.
• Dialects – a regional or social variety of a language that is distinguished by pronunciation, grammar, and vocabulary.

• Jargon – words or phrases that do not exist or have a different meaning from the vernacular usage in a particular setting; usually technical.
• Low-latency – nearly real-time.
• On-Device Translation – translations that happen on device without needing to be sent to a server.
